The Westerners

     First started off in the early 70s as i remenber by Peter Laight and was a country and western band, but why was it called the Westerners ? well before that the band was called the Saints which in fact in those days wasnt a Country and western band but was a Skiful band. Peter Laight asked Terry Beale to join them as a bass Guitarist in those early days they  soon found out how good he was and then he was also playing lead Guitar and lead singer.
